Building, Land Use, and Housing Meeting

Every month, EPNI convenes the community at the Building, Land Use, and Housing (BLUH) meeting to discuss housing issues and proposed changes to the neighborhood.

In order to join the meeting, you'll need to register via Zoom here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. If you need help with registering, please call or email the EPNI office. We will also stream the meeting to Facebookand the recording will be available after the meeting.

NCU New Building Concept

Jordan M. Robertson, Executive Director of Operations, North Central University

NCU’s board of regents approved a new building concept containing a student union and classrooms for the biology program. This would replace the parking ramp across from the chapel entrance at Elliot Ave and 10th St. NCU plans to build this smaller building first before pursuing the academic building plan shared with EPNI a few years ago.

Minneapolis NAACP Housing Committee 

Corissa Sutton, Housing Committee Chair, NAACP MPLS 

Corissa will introduce NAACP MPLS’ housing work. NAACP MPLS is interested in building and maintaining relationships within the housing community along with advocating for housing policy. They prioritize programming and opportunities that empower renters and facilitate wealth opportunities through home ownership.

Habitat for Humanity’s Work to Close the Racial Gap in Homeownership

Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity is laser-focused on closing our horrible racial gap in homeownership. We will share Habitat’s new vision and plan and how we want to partner in community to make a difference.
