Building, Land Use, and Housing Meeting

Join your neighbors in advocating for development that fits our community needs. Every month, EPNI convenes the community at the Building, Land Use, and Housing (BLUH) meeting, where residents can review & give feedback on proposed changes to infrastructure and development plans.

The BLUH meeting is held the third Thursday of each month, 6-7:30 PM, at the Elliot Park Recreation Center (1000 14th Street).

Preliminary Design Concepts for U.S. Bank Stadium Plaza Security
Aki Shibata, Forecast Public Art

Forecast Public Art has been hired to develop a creative perimeter plan for U.S. Bank Stadium to bring the plazas surrounding the building up to current security standards. In late August, five diverse teams of architects, artists and designers participated in a “design charrette,” a half-day session where they focused on innovative and creative solutions for an effective, secure, permanent, attractive and people-friendly perimeter.

Request: Conversation and feedback on how the community views the current perimeter of the U.S. Bank Stadium wishes for the future project.

Conditional Use Permit – 1600 Park

Dale Howey, Green Rock Apartments (property owner)

Apadana Solar Technologies is working with Dale Howey Green Rock Apartments to install a free-standing solar array (AKA carport), over the south portion of the parking lot at 1600 Park Ave, in addition to solar on the apartment buildings roof. This will allow for the apartment building, next to the parking lot, to have all of its electrical power generated though solar.

Request: Support for the conditional use permit.
