Proposed Development at 500 S 7th Street Bob Loken, Principal, ESG Martin Sicotte, Architect, ESG Ross Stiteley, Senior Developer, Sherman Associates Sherman Associates proposes to redevelop the southern half of the block (currently a surface parking lot) into a high-density mixed use development consisting of a 8-story, 195-unit residential building. The building will be integrated into a skyway-connected two-story podium incorporating a 12,000 SF daycare facility at street level and a 14,500 SF facility for non-profit Firefighters for Healing at the skyway level. A one-story below grade parking facility will be connected to the parking facility below the adjacent new Thrivent headquarters building. Action: Consider support for the land use application for 500 S 7th Street. |

Hennepin Healthcare Redleaf Center for Family Healing Marlys Weyandt, Senior Development Officer, Hennepin Healthcare Foundation Hennepin Healthcare will share information on the proposed Redleaf Center for Family Healing, which requires an Amendment of the Conditional Use Permit for a Hospital. Action: Consider support for the amendment to the Conditional Use Permit to allow for develop of the Redleaf Center for Family Healing. |
