EPNI November Calendar  

Monday, May 15th - Board of Directors Meeting
6-8pm • At North Central University, 1410 Elliot Ave and Via Zoom
The EPNI Board of Directors will hold an extended meeting this month. The first 30 minutes will be for regular board items and the remaining 90 minutes are devoted to long-range vision and planning work.

BLUH is back! This month we have Hennepin County plans for the 
resurfacing of Park and Portland Avenues in 2024. Come see what's in the planned changes and bring your questions!


We're hiring an Executive Director

Elliot Park Neighborhood, Inc. (EPNI) is hiring an Executive Director. If you are interested, please apply! You may know someone in your network, so please pass along the full job description.

Elliot Park is a rapidly growing residential neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN with a diverse population and many distinctive regional landmarks. With its proximity to the downtown core, Elliot Park is home to both new developments as well as an abundance of historical buildings.

Elliot Park Neighborhood, Inc. (EPNI) was established in 1976 with a primary focus of reinvesting in the community through renovation of existing housing and investment in new housing. The focus of the organization has shifted over the years and the current mission is to build community vitality by connecting & empowering neighbors. The Executive Director is responsible for implementing EPNI priorities, managing the day-to-day operations, and working with neighbors and partners to realize the community’s vision. This requires a broad perspective, prioritization, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a great deal of energy and creativity.



 

Shop the Mobile Market!

The Twin Cities Mobile Market is back on Wednesdays! You can find the bus at 1515 Park Ave. All are welcome to stop by and shop. The market has beautiful and affordable produce, meat, dairy, bread, and more.

Ward 6 Candidate Forum

The city of Minneapolis is holding city council elections this November. Elliot Park is now entirely within Ward 6. Community Power is hosting a candidate forum focused on climate justice and local energy on May 11th 6-7:30pm in person and via a Facebook feed.
 

Earth Day Cleanup Event

On April 22nd, EPNI hosted a cleanup event in our neighborhood. We removed dozens of bags of litter thanks to over 100 volunteers!

Thank you to Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board for the city-wide organizing and support, Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge for all their volunteers, and everyone who came out!
